Daniel has over 18 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, pharmaceutical marketing consultation, medical education, healthcare IT, and healthcare quality improvement industries. Daniel's career includes 2 years in Research & Development with Abbot Laboratories where he was involved in the Retrovirus Immunodiagnostics Discovery Program. After leaving Abbott, Daniel spent 4 years with Medical Education Network providing industry-sponsored continuing medical education solutions for physicians. Following that, Daniel spent 4 years working for Medical Intelligence Solutions (MIS) as a clinical and strategic marketing consultant to the pharmaceutical industry. After leaving MIS, Daniel spent 3 years working for Allscripts, a leading provider of EMR software systems, where he pioneered the use of EMR data for measuring healthcare outcomes. Daniel has spent the last 8 years in healthcare quality improvement consultancy with Twine Clinical Consulting. Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in microbiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a Master's degree in Molecular Biology from Illinois State University at Bloomington-Normal, an MBA in Strategic Marketing from DePaul University's Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, and various continuing professional education credits in Healthcare Quality Improvement and Healthcare Analytics.
